This workshop is specially designed by the above famous professors from overseas universities for the UEC students of undergraduate and graduate schools as well as faculty members who find reading, writing and presenting in academic English challenging. The invited professors will introduce their current research and educational experiences in the linguistic features or characteristics of science and research English that are especially relevant to the disciplines and research areas at UEC. They will also provide the participants with some practical tips and application types of hands-on activities. In addition, the invited professors will share the English language education systems and how their students learn English as a foreign language at their universities. Japanese language support is available at the workshop. If you have to read academic articles in English, present and write in English, communicate with students and researchers from other countries in English, and/or want to go overseas to study, this workshop is for you. Come and get knowledge, skills and confidence in English!
このワークショップは特別にアカデミック英語読み書き、プレゼンテーションが難しいと想う電通大の学部生、大学院生だけでなく教員のために上記外国大学からの有名な教授たちによって作られたものです。招待教授たちは特に、電通大生の研究分野や専門分野に関連している言語的な特性について紹介します。彼らはいくつかの実践的な活動のアプリケーションや実用的なヒントを提供します。また、招待教授は、出身大学の英語教育システムや学生が英語を外国語としてどのように勉強しているかについて共有します。本ワークショップでは英語が理解するのが難しい方に対して通訳の支援も行います。 本ワークショップは英語の学術論文を読みたい方、英語で発表したい・論文書きたい方、外国の方々や研究者たちとコミュニケーションしたい方、外国で学びたい方を対処としています。ぜひこの機会を利用して自分の視野を広げ、新しいスキルを取得し、英語に自信持つようになってください！
